Akash Tandoori - Castle Point

My friend and I visited the Akash for the first time yesterday evening. We had the £13.50 set meal, which was excellent value for money and very plentiful. Poppadoms followed by any starter, main course, side dish and nan or rice could be chosen, although fish and prawns would have incurred an extra charge. I specially enjoyed my sag paneer, and indeed neither of us could fault any aspect of our meal. I also liked the tables separated by attractive glass panels which provided an intimate atmosphere.

We have been eating here for years and it never fails as the best Indian in the area. Ordered the Kurchi Lamb for 4 people ahead of our visit, (they need 48 hours notice) and food was excellent.

We ordered four starters, mains etc to share between the four of us, no complaints about anything, every dish was yummy

Usually go here on a Sunday after I finish work but because of situation are at home do had a takeaway for husband’s Birthday Great food all enjoyed what we had Throughly recommend

I had a delivery from Akash since I couldn't pick up the food myself. The driver was lovely, and the food was fantastic. Akash has never let me down. It's the best Indian food in Benfleet.
