We 've gone there for dinner and we have been very happy with the choice. Weather permitting you can see Corisca from the restaurant. The staff is very very friendly and welcomes you with a smile. The food (fish was fresh and nicely served (big portions! ! Lastly the restaurant is adhering to all Covid measurements such as Green Pass checking before you go in, everyone is wearing masks and disinfection possibilities given. Good experience if you 're there!
The Good 1. Staff and servers are welcoming and friendly 2. Restaurant location is nice for a view 3. Food is reasonably good (but not great) and arrives in a timely fashion 4. Greenpass required, minimum health standards respected The VERY BAD I don’t even know where to begin. 1. The drinks arrived way too slowly. 2. Imagine being seated in an inside room with about 55 60 people on a hot summer night with NO VENTILATION. You’re sweating, so you take the printed paper menu on the table and turn it into a fan, just like all the other guests, visibly suffering from the heat. 3. Imagine to your left and right 2 tables 1 table with a crying baby that just refuses to calm down, and the other with a SCREAMING and SHRIEKING toddler who also refuses to stop. NON STOP EAR PIERCING screaming, crying and shrieking for 45 minutes. 45 MINUTES NON STOP. Neither parent intelligent enough to take their kid/baby outside and let them calm down. No, instead, the entire room of 60 guests is subjected to NEVER ENDING AUDITORY ANGUISH for the duration of their meal., in a hot room with no ventilation!!! The management and staff did nothing. 4. While being subjected to auditory hell and physical sweating, feeling horribly uncomfortable and waiting for the waiter or waitress to come and refill your drinks and water, the waitstaff magically disappeared off the floor for at least 10 12 minutes. Not a single server to be found anywhere. Eventually one server shows up to put food on a table, and, as if they had total tunnel vision, completely ignored the rest of the room and other tables, who also had their hands up desperately trying to get a server’s attention. 10 12 minutes in a room with 60 people in mental and physical anguish, and not a single server to be found anywhere. We couldn’t leave fast enough. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER despite decent food and relatively friendly staff. To the restaurant manager MANAGE YOUR RESTAURANT and TRAIN YOUR SERVERS!!!!
Great location and friendly staff. prices are ok and pizza is quite good . It is a good place for a romantic dinner(thanks to the great panoramic view There was just 1 problem.... i was surprised that in this restaurant they add cheese to the seafood... it is something that i really didnt aspect. Maybe it is my fault that i didnt ask about it before ordering food or maybe staff should just clarify that at Rocca Ja, seafood and cheese do go togheter : When i talked about it in some other sardinian restaurants , weitress and cookers were speechless because they never heard about it before....
