Marinzen Hutte - CASTELROTTO

We started and ended our long hike here coffee was good but in the afternoon the service took forever with only one person serving a lot of tables and the bottle beer was warm. Too bad as it’s a great location.

Regardless if you come for lunch or just a refreshment, the owner and his staff are always attentive and friendly. The food is very good and tasty! If you arrive before 3pm the place can be vewry busy and you need some time to get served. Don 't worry and enjoy the place, like the Süddtirol saying Hier in dieser Herrlichkeit, geniesse auch die Wartezeit. Sie dauert keine Ewigkeit! (Here in this buitiful setting, enjoy the waiting time as well, it does not take ages).

We enjoyed strudel and cappuccino after walking from San Micele The service was good; the waiter was nice.

Non si può pagare con il Bancomat. Nel 2018 è INACCETTABILE. You can’t pay with a credit card. In 2018 this is INACCEPTABLE.

We walked from Castelrotto to Marinzen Hutte with our 5-year-old-daughter (the little boy in the baby carrier), a very nice trip trought fileds and wood. At the end we found a relaxing pawn with garden toys and many animals free to be pet (in particular goats). You can stay here as long as you desire, with many free beach chairs. The food in the restaurant is very good (mushroom tagliatelle, wuster, wienerschitzel and a very good beer) and the price fair.
