Foresteria San Benedetto

I have been twice in the last 7 days in this restaurant at the foot of the bismantova stone. last weekend, accomplice the bad weather, the panorama was not the best (low clouds). temperatures around 10 degrees have caused some problems even during lunch because being two environments where magical, one inside and one outside, the waiters entered and ocivano making the cold enter because of the always open door. being our table at the entrance we took all the cold and we ate with the jacket. nothing catastrophic but still not pleasant. at a request to close the door we were initially told, in a dry and burning tone, of no exception then, given our insistence to close it permanently. closed this parentheses and talking about food did not serve anything to say, absolutely great everything: from tortelli, to tagliatelle to desserts. Unexceptionable. the second visit takes place today. crazy climate, external position under well-aired curtains. the place was full but they brought us everything in acceptable times and, above all, always good. Very well. the shoe of not wanting to close the door of the first visit is completely obscured by the sympathy of one of the waiters (high and muscular) who knows how to do his job in an excellent way combining sympathy and efficiency also in a festive day with the restaurant to complete. I suggest you come back.

I had lunch with a group of 30 people and found myself great! the dishes are typical of the place (fried pastry with typical salami, tri of tortelli with various sauces, roasted with potatoes, flavors of cakes with coffee and lambrusco) and are very cared and abundant. very fast and professional at the service. a true culinary discovery with a great value for money: to return often!

Really lovely environment, cosy, clean, delicious food and really friendly staff. Location is perfect and the locals are all friendly too!

When visiting Pietra di Bismantova we had lunch here. The atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant. The meal was well prepared, which makes me wonder why there would be a review labeled Terrible. They obviously were having a bad day and decided to take their misery out on someone. Anyway, I was very happy with my experience...

A stop for a refreshment in this paradisiacal place is absolutely a MUST! We are always looking forward to coming here for a great dinner like the one of yesterday, enjoying delicious traditional dishes like gnocco fritto and tigelle. Food quality is very high for a very fair price. The staff is also very friendly and competent, taking care about offering the best for you. Grazie Foresteria and grazie Mattia!
