Bidrage med feedbackWe found the place by chance at the end of a early morning trip on the hills. We were hungry and we would have been satisfied just to put something into the stomach. What a surprise!! to the end of a small rural street we found the paradise. We were greeted by a friendly, smiling staff who led us to the table. The menu is fixed, but it is varied and plentiful, and you can ask more without extra charge. We liked especially the tigelle and the crescentine with cold cuts, and we were taught to eat tigelle and bacon with cheese parmigiano . delicious. We spent 25 euro each person. At the end of the meal the owner took us down to the basement and we tasted the typical self-produced grappa , and they explained us that almost everything you eat there is self-produced: there are animals, vineyards, fruit trees. The view is breathtaking, enchanting. I wish we could have a place like that in our country. When we return to Italy we will come to meet you again.
Dinner was delicious and made with local products in their own kitchen. We can choose from a small card.
We stayed on a Sunday of the end of April at lunch, and we really enjoyed it, in a family atmosphere. we opted for the fixed menu, and the food was of excellent quality and abundant. service nothing to excel, indeed we thank for patience because with a child of a year and a half we were not really silent customers. price absolutely on average. sin on the rainy day, we will return on a sunny day hoping to enjoy the outside and the animals present. Congratulations, we felt like at home.
In November of 2013, my husband and I spent 2 nights at the Bed and Breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed two tastefully prepared evening meals, complete with wine made on site. Breakfasts were a delicious assortment of homemade pastry, bread and a fruit butter. Although we spoke no Italian and the hostess neither English or Spanish (our two native languages), we were made to feel quite comfortable. So much that my husband returned for a stay the next year when in Bologna for business! The room was clean and comfortable. The views were beautiful as the B&B is situated at the crest between two valleys. Will definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity to visit the area again.
Let me start with the views, as you drive to the restaurant you are surrounded by beautiful rolling hills with grape vines and oil trees. The aggriturismo also contains small farm animals in which children can see and pet. We had a large party of 6 and we were seated upstairs. The lunch that we ordered was of typical plates from the region Emilia Romangia (Bologna). We had three types of pasta, spinach based fettuccini with a red tomato sauce and pork meet. The second pasta dish was tortelini with a cheese filling and a cream sauce with balsamic vinegar. Our third pasta dish as pasta penne primavera, Basically this pasta contains fresh vegetables tossed in fresh olive oil. For our second course, we were served an assortment of salumi, pickled vegetables, home cooked pork sausage in a stew red sauce served with the typical breads of the region (nocco and tigelle). All very good and fresh. With our pre-fixed meal we had the house wine from the restaurant. An overall great experience, It's worth the drive.
