Pizzeria Volterrani - CASTELFIORENTINO

Simple, local tavern, serving excellent pizze, dinner seems to be served quite late, i.e. people arrive after 9:30pm. we were the first clients at 08:00pm. service also delivers take away pizze and therefore table service is quite slow, hence my four stars rating.

Based on tripadvisor review, we tried this restaurant. This kokes to be a type of restaurant frequented by the locals. The service was friendly and the english was surprisingly good. As for the pizzas, They were absolutely excellent. The best we had in the area. If you want a good meal, this is a good choice.

The owner is there every night to welcome you into his place. We ate here about five times during our stay and could not find anything that we didn't like. Authentic cooking at it's best! Highly recommend to all!!!

Buona pizza impasto croccante, ma le dimensioni davvero ridotte rispetto a pizze normali. Non vale il prezzo pagato. Strano perché anni fa le dimensioni erano normali. Peccato.

Buona la pizza e poco bruciata sotto. Peccato che abbiamo dovuto attendere 40 minuti oltre l' orario fissato per avere le pizze da asporto. vero che era un sabato, ma forse è necessario, per non andare in overbooking anche con i clienti ai tavoli, di prendere meno prenotazioni. Sett 2023 Anche stavolta ritardo perché, purtroppo, il pizzaiolo era da solo causa malattia di una dipendente.
