Located in the middle of Castel Del Piano, stopped for lunch with some friends, I had the Buffala pizza (fresh tomato and basil, buffalo mozzarella , which tasted lovely and fresh. We arrived on a very wet day in Castel del piano after a two hour drive. We were in need of a good Tuscan lunch and we were not disappointed. The decor was traditional And interesting. The menu was true Tuscan good choice of antipasto plates/ pasta dishes and meat and fish dishes with some great deserts. We all enjoyed a starter of anti pasta for four. Your traditional meats and cheeses with olives. 2 of our party had pasta which was freshly made and cooked al denta. One had a wild boar Ragu which was fabulous and another the rare beef simply served with olive oil. Definitely worth a visit. The staff were friendly and attentive. Wifi was available. A nice reasonable priced lunch warm inside on a cold wet day.

Not a terribly appealing exterior but very pleasant interior and most importantly good quality food. They even had a menu in English!

We managed to eat a pizza even though very late. very kind staff. excellent cuisine.

Pizza in the norm, but as a place I think is unique in its kind. to see absolutely if you are in the area
