Bidrage med feedbackGreat location and fine dinning but services are really bad. Their wine selection could be much better but they have BYOB ( bring your one bottle) service and the cork fee is 12 euro. The first evening we ordered two bottles and, also, brought our own bottle. Everything was just fine. The following day we brought another one and the waiters helped us cool the bottle. At some point the owner/manager came to us saying that it is not allowed. We tried to explain her that it was possible one day before but she was really blunt. Moreover, they fotgot they refused us and when we asked for the bill they charged us 12 euro cork fee. Obviously, the fee was set up in the software but the manager refused us for pure unknown reasons. It really was offensive and spoiled our entire night. Stay away!
The hotel is amazing, we had a great time here! Too bad the last night experience...at the restaurant. A night before it was no problem to bring our own bottle of wine and pay a cork fee, which we payed and also ordered a bottle from the hotel. The last night, a lady that seemed to be in charge would not let us open another bottle. We also ordered another white wine from their restaurant. But the cork fee was on our bill ten minutes later. Long story short, even if the food is great and we wanted to order more than appertizers, we left to drink the wine in our room. They simply ruined our evening. Last night we left more than 250€ at the restaurant, not to brag, but they lack in client management big time! If this was my restaurant, I would not let a bottle of wine( payed with 12€ cork fee) to slip a 250€ dinner. Especially since they have that service, since it was on our bill. So dissapointed, huge mistake. Even if the hotel is great and we may come back, we will sure not eat again here, just because of the lady in white that said no to a bottle of wine.
We stayed at hotel de la plage for my sister's birthday this week end. Great location just in front of beach, rooms have been done up recently and are very nice.We ate at the restaurant and food is very good. I took the Cevice which was to die for and calamari and black risotto also excellent.Gave it a 4 out of 5 as thought service could be improved. Don't get me wrong: staff was nice but a few didn't feel like they were properly trained to offer help to customers like on arrival no one offered help to carry luggages when it was not easy to do with stairs leading to lobby. I would be back as great location, nice people and great food.
Well located hotel, enjoying a parking (which is a luxury in cassis), staff and friendly welcome. I will reproach for the maintenance of the equipment (roasts with leakage flowing, leakage at the air conditioning level. )
This is the worst restaurant we tried in the vicinity of Cassis. We were attracted by the aesthetics of restaurant with a beautiful view overlooking the beach and atmosphere in warm apparance.Unfortunately the rest did not follow. the service was slow and clearly not turned to customers. we asked for a tempura of vegetables to enter, by saying that we do not want to have a shrimp or srab tempura in this dish, because I do not tolerate seafood well. The server replied that there are no worries, but despite all the dish served had seafood.Concerning the main dish, I took the fried fish, which was supposed to be fresh, but was not. I know how to recognize the perished fish. It was also cooked in the dry troc way. Although we reported it to both servers, there was no reaction (e.g. for the vegetable tempura). I had to leave my asiiette almost untouched and gone with the empty belly. My husband had taken a dish with seafood, but it was very average too. having paid almost 120 euro for dinner, I would have liked to have the dishes at least fresh and suitable. I strongly advise this restaurant.
