Excellent bistecca alla fiorentina at this simple roadside restaurant

Day dedicated to the visit of the Abbey of San Galgano. Where are we going to eat? Search on The Fork, which offers us this Restaurant Piattoforte....a wonderful proposal. The owner welcomes you as a family, and lunch is to lick the mustache. A meat-based appetizer in the norm, the three first, cacio and pece pops, boar ragout and truffle cutlery cartoccio, are simply fantastic. Second a rough cut and grain for two people and lemon fried chicken always x two. Plentiful portions but above all excellent quality. I forgot 4 servings of roasted potatoes. Then they sing with the holy wine and coffee. All watered by a good bottle of Rosso di Montalcino. We spent 44 euros in 4. A dream, not to be missed, indeed it would be worth 200 km, as we did, at least once a week

Great place to eat, egg-made house, wide menu,contes more than honest,to try. I'll be right back.

Exceptional restaurant! we had the opportunity to dine there for several nights over a week and we had wonderfully well, excellent Tuscan cuisine, and great service.
