Dal Brigante - CASOLE D'ELSA

We arrived without a reservation on a Sunday at lunch time. The waiter was very patient with us. We ordered the antipasto platter, prawns and Branzino. All was delicious and generous servings for a great price. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on a beautiful patio with stunning views. This small town is not touristy, mostly locals enjoying a wonderful meal.

After a bitter disappointment in a nearby restaurant the evening before, we were looking for good food. And we found it!!! TOP service, the guests are served by a waiter with pronounced friendliness and great attention. Nice menu with tasty regional dishes, as well as the pizza, hmmmm, wafer-thin, good ingredients. Finally, a crème catalan, we don't want to reveal more here. We came a second time and have nothing more to add to the absolutely positive impression. We award 5 points, thanks for 2 feel-good evenings. Oh yes, not to forget, there's a great view too… there too...

We did not reserve a table as the town is not super touristic. The restaurant was full. But eager to serve us, we were seated 30’ later and no delays for the dishes. We loved the pizza’s and desserts. There’s a great view and nice team.

Try with portions of pappardelle to the wild boar sauce: good portions, abundant, well seasoned. courteous staff, right prices
