Mandarim - Cascais

Chinese oasis with a great view from the terrace. Good service. If you don't like everything at the same time on your table, order in rounds. We like dim sum for sunday lunch and peking duck.

Sadly great potential however good with good taste and all cold! Can’t get how all is cold, maybe pre cooked and kept warm on hot plat? The food arrived very very fast. Service excellent.

This is one of my favorite lunch spot in Cascais. There aren’t many people for lunch in general, I always got a table with nice view. The service is excellent most of dimsums are delicious as well as many seafoods.

Having been seated in quite a nice restaurant, our experience went downhill from there. Our waitress I don't think had ever seen or given a smile in her life and definitely made us feel unwelcome. Our orders were taken and were swiftly brought out. The food apart from the sweet and sour pork was almost inedible.I don't know where other reviewers have eaten, but I've been around the block a bit; and this definitely rates amongst my poorest experience in a chinese restaurant ever. There are plenty of other food palaces in estoril/cascais that in my opinion, are far better

The Mandarim was strongly recommended by a friend and we were very much looking forward to a fantastic chinese dinner. But shark fin is a no go .
