Zoup - Cascades

Great lunch! The staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I got our food fast and the soup and the sandwich were hot! Ordered a Cranberry Almond Sonoma salad with a cup of Good Real Chicken Noodle soup (living up to its name). We also had half a chicken toscana sandwich. Delicious! A must for a filling (but not too full) lunch!

Best bread ever!!! The lobster Bisque was creamy, full of taste and lobster. Beautiful, clean, welcoming atmosphere. Besides, the staff was very nice, helpful and fast! Try them and see!!

Not many vegan options. The salads and sandwiches were not delicious. The impossible Tuscan bean soup was good.

I ordered the roasted chickpeas and hummus salad. It should come with lemon vinaigrette, but what she gave me was literally lemon water. It's not salad dressing, I don't need a wet salad, and it's ridiculously small considering the price she calculates. $12 for basically a bowl baby spinach with unusable salad dressing. Strange.

I will preface this by saying I?ve been to Zoup several times before and I?ve never had issues with their portion sizes or quality of products. They have always been slightly overpriced, but the quality was fine so I was okay with paying the price. Today I was in the Sterling, VA area and decided to stop by to pick up a ?pick two? soup and sandwich deal. Their customer service team was great, they greeted me at the door and politely offered for a taste sample on their variety soups. I ordered my lunch to go then opened the bag in my car to find that my ?sandwich? is extremely small, excessively greasy and tasted like cardboard with a hint of pesto. I could not believe how tiny the sandwich was!! Normally I would expect a half size sandwich and cup of soup for $6 like other similar sandwich shops offer but I paid $12.72 and not to mention the poor quality!! So, I did my diligence and called the Zoup store back to confirm that I wasn?t just mistakenly cheated on the ?deal?. I explained that this 4-inch half sandwich is pathetic, and they have over charged for this. The clerk explained that there is nothing he can do or offer and that I?m not the first person to complain about this. Management needs to take these complaints seriously or you will lose customers. I?m disgusted at their dishonesty in quality prices and I can reassure you I won?t be going back! I will be telling all my colleagues, friends, and family that Zoup will take your money without a second glance! Please save yourself the money and DON?T support their outrageously inflated sandwiches.
