Pei Wei - Cary

I hadn't been to this Pei Wei in about 6 years. They've greatly improved their food! I got their tuna poke bowl, and it was good, but the tuna did not taste the freshest. For fast casual Asian food, it was acceptable. We had great service, but my friend found a hair in her food.

I really like this place. The food is really good, and they will accommodate special orders without problem. As a subsidiary of PF Chang's, the food is similar, but the convenience and slightly lower price makes this preferable to me. The employees are friendly and the table service is nice, without having to wait to order. There is also a small patio, and when the weather is pleasant it's a very nice place to sit. They also offer a separate to-go section (just off to the side, really) if you don't have time to stay. I live in Greensboro, and this is the closest location to me. I've inquired a few times but they don't seem to have interest in a Greensboro or even a Winston-Salem store. Fortunately, I travel to or through the area about once a month, so when time permits I will stop for lunch.

Orange chicken was great. I will be returning here soon. The service was quick and friendly. We had a party of 8-10. No problems.

This is one of the friendliest places I've eaten recently. We ordered and during our mulling over of what to get a gentleman came through and offered his assistance if we needed anything. Then they consistently checked up on us to make sure our food was good or to remove plates with which we were finished. We love the food and love coming here!

I have been to Five Star more times than I can count, so this review is long overdue I am totally a fan I love this place.
