Catalan Tapas - Cary

This place is fantastic. Feels like a little hole in the wall kind of spot in the back of a strip center but then you open the door and it’s packed, has a cool vibe, a bar and a 2 piece jazz band playing. Service is great. Food is great. Saw a few reviews saying tapas are expensive. Yes tapas are pricey. If you don’t like that go to Denny’s.

Great food and service. small, cozy place, so that seating is limited, but during the warmer weather the sitting area is beautiful in the open.

We loved it and will definitely be back! The food was delicious and the restaurant has amazing character. The live music that set up toward the end of our meal was a nice touch, but I took off one star because he was a little too loud for the space we couldn’t hear each other and the servers were having a hard time hearing us.

Brussel shoots were amazing! we have tried catalan for the triangle restaurant week and were really happy with everything we have tried. will definitely go back.
