Bidrage med feedbackI'd like to start by saying I consider myself a coffee addict, and I drink between 7-11 cups per day. With that said, I did not have a better cup of coffee in whole of Costa Rica than at Aki Cafe. If you visit Costa Rica and do not make a stop here, I encourage you to rebook another ticket!
Some of the best coffee I've had in Costa Rica, which is an accomplishment to say the least.
We found AKI because it's close to our bus stop. Very pleased we decided to try them out. Don Enrique, who's been in the coffee business for 27 years, is a most welcoming host. Ninety minutes with him one afternoon and I left with a tutorial on fine coffee preparation. He roasts his own coffee so that will be another story. They have an extensive menu of sweet and savory selections. You'll be glad to pay them a visit.
Lovely staff, good coffee they even have decaf which is bordering on rare in Costa Rica. Also, they understand what gluten free is and have some items available.
This is one of the best Bakeries I've ever tried. The place is nice and the food just fantastic. Beverages are also really tasty. You will pay for quality in here. Good place for small coffee snacks.
