Heidi's Family - Carson City

Without question, some of the most delicious breakfast dishes you can get anywhere in Carson City can be found here at Heidi's! I should note that my wife and I had been dining here for the better part of two decades but stopped during the pandemic and mainly due to them being so short handed and closed more times than not. We only recently started coming again and boy am I ever glad we did because their menu has changed quite a bit and I would argue, for the better. As always, their crepes are still awesome as ever and that's what my wife likes and in addition to their standard egg dishes, they now offer things like chilaquiles and it really is outstanding. I should also note that they've done some nice remodeling on the inside to give it an updated feel and of course, the service here is still as friendly as ever. If it's been a while since you've given this old restaurant a try, I would highly encourage you to try it again and if you're just passing through town, it's definitely worth the stop. I'm pretty sure this Heidi's was or still is associated with the one you can find up in South Lake Tahoe but it's a lot less crowded and where I prefer to dine. Parking: If you can't find a spot to part in front, there is more parking available behind the restaurant.

I've been eating here since we moved to Carson City 37 years ago, and I've never had a bad meal! That should say all you need to know?

Fantastic gem of a restaurant! The chile rellenos were so good! If I could purchase a gallon of the tomato sauce I would buy 10! The service was wonderful, atmosphere was relaxing and the whole place was very clean and bright! No question, we will visit again if we find ourselves in Carson City. Go, you won't be disappointed!

Our server was very nice and fast, the food was delicious and came out very fast, the dining area was nice and clean and so was the bathroom 10/10 would come by again if we stop by Carson city !
