Wok'd Gourmet Chinese - Carrum Downs

A weekly favorite! we order for fussy men and elders, and everyone is happy. the only thing is that they don't deliver.

Better than average asian food, reasonable prices and quite tasty. Quite a popular place, can see chefs cooking through window. Very small place, best to order takeaway. Service is good but busy place.

Usually wonderful, Wok'd standards dropped dramatically on the 21st of December 2017. The Five Spice Calamari was chewy and virtually inedible and the Honey Pepper Beef ridiculously sweet. Being popular shouldn't be an excuse for running out of their usual containers or menus, both of which were not available.

Not the first time I have eaten here, but it was the worst. Had a large special fried rice, couldn't fault the decent amount of meat and prawns, but the rice itself was hard and very dry. Was hoping to have the other half for lunch the next day but threw it in the bin instead. Service was friendly and attentive. Disappointing.

Not the most authentic Chinese but decent value for money. Make sure you call in your order on a weekend or Friday as it can take ages!!! Omelette is always good!
