Gio's Taqueria - Carrollton

My hubby and I were working in the area and decided to find a very small Mexican restaurant to eat at, and we found this amazing place!!! The food was SO GOOD, especially the ground beef tacos with lime squeezed on top, and the service was impeccable!! Butthe thing we were most impressed by was how CLEAN it was!!! We are so used to trying places and looking around to see dusteverywhere, but it was obvious that they actually pay attention to the details, not just the simple surface things. That's notsomething you see very much anymore. And again, the server was on point. We got the 20 taco special, which he asked if we wantedsome to go, and he even staggered the to go order tacos so that they were fresh when we left. If you want a delicious meal on aclean restaurant with attentive service, but isn't packed like the larger restaurants, then this is your place. We willdefinitely be back when we're in the area!!!

I?ve supported this restaurant many a times and this will be the last time. I was trying to spend my money with a local business rather than going to Shake shack however I feel like they would?ve appreciated my money more. I stood at the counter for 3minutes before I was acknowledged by anybody and I made eye contact with four different employees. This is not the first timethat I have been ignored in this establish, moving forward I?ll give my hard earned money to business owners that look like me.The Cuban torta I purchase also had 0 seasoning on the meats today. Highly underwhelming

First time here and this review is only based on what we had today. We got their birria tacos and the chicharon and cheese pupusa. I've never had pupusas before but I was hoping that I could've tasted a bit more pork in there. I recall cheese but notmuch pork. But it was still tasty with the pickled cabbage slaw topped with their salsa. I must say that I really liked theirsalsa! It had a light smokey taste. Birria tacos were ok. However, I will be back to try their tacos! Other table had a hugeplatter and they looked good!

I had a taste for Birria Tacos and landed here. I was not disappointed?they were really good! I had the Pineapple Aqua Fresca, and it was refreshing! Of Birria is not your thing, they have variety of deliciousness to choose from. By the way they have aTaco Tuesday Special 10 tacos for $15

It?s ok, It worked for the moment. They were very fresh and very reasonably priced !! I got 3 for like 8 dollars with consommé. It?s just about bland. I want FLAVORS, I want to taste the herbs in the meat and consommé. ????????????? We love flavors pleaseconsider adding more flavor? not salt but flavor.
