Gen Korean Bbq House - Carrollton

This is the only place in TX that has 'BBQ Sushi ' on the front of the restaurant. I love the Blue House. It is great. Try the BBQ sushi

So delicious! Such a spectacular eating experience. I love how interactive the meal is and it was perfectly seasoned and paired great with a plum jen. Friendly staff and moors (the table next to me gave great recommendations). I'll be back!

I was to several Korean barbecues in DFW and Gen, by far, is the best in the city. The place was really nice and well organized. The staff was attentive. The food was well seasoned, but not too sweet. Absolutely come back!

The restaurant has a very nice and lively atmosphere. The toilets were very clean and the food seemed premium. The best I can definitely say about this place was customer service! There was no time when I had to worry about not drinking enough or having too many empty plates at my table. The staff was very sharp and super friendly! The food, is obviously Korean grill and is everything you eat restaurant (2 hours limit) and you order the food as you go. There is a kind of hot plate in the middle of the table where you cook a majority of the dishes yourself on this hot plate. This is definitely a great place to take your employees, friends and family to try something new and share it together. You can only eat on weekends. Lunch ends at 3 p.m. during the weekdays. Drinks do not come with the meal and must be bought separately, but are also endless. It was good to break my diet today!

I love this place. I feel hurried when I eat here because of the staff, but I'm still returning because I enjoy the food. The staff is very go-go-go, and if they change the grill, they put the food back on the new grill very chaotic. If you see that the meat is properly placed on the grill, you should try it at least again on the new grill as neat as possible from respect of the guests. When my young waitress did that I had to explain after my first barbecue that we had our meat in this format, because some were already cooked and the other cooked/stille uncooked, but because they combined them all in a stack when they put them back on the new grill in one section, the uncooked meat was mixed with the boiled meat we wanted to eat. She apologized, but still put together our protein after every grill change... it came to the point where I just cooked a kind of protein at a time because I was tired of separating it after changing the grill. She was very sweet and attentive, but I wish I didn't feel rushed to eat or had to separate my uncooked meat from my boiled meat when I asked her to stop it, to mix it together after every barbecue change... I also went during lunch, so it was not busy at all, which makes me say her lunch price is so much IMO!! Dinner is always a better choice because there are more food, but the lunch menu is enough for me! I just wish the service would be better in the change in drilling and emergency? Aspects. Besides these two factors, Gen is a really good kbbq to enjoy food, drinks and atmosphere
