Monterrey Mexican - Carolina Township

I ate here yesterday and have had food poisoning from what I ate. I ordered fajitas..I’ve never been this sick from restaurant food. My fiancé who went with me is also experiencing similar symptoms. I’ll spare you the details but; do not eat here. I wish I would have read the prior reviews first.

Just ok, the food came fairly quickly and our server was very nice. The chips and tortillas, especially the taco salad, were very stale. The ground beef and refried beans were mediocre, almost tasted like ketchup. Price is reasonable.

Restaurant floors and kitchen were dirty. Food was below average. I would not return.

Food was fast but it’s like it was just sitting for a while she told me after the food was out they didn’t have the shredded chicken I ordered. When i was ready for the bill I had to go find my waitress.. every last employee there was on their phones and didn’t look up at me at all… I’mNot usually one to complain but this was really just .. not great

Really good Mexican restaurant just off Poinsett highway 276. Great value and the food wad very good! Staff is friendly and the service was great!
