Bidrage med feedbackAmazing food, every single time. My family is determined to try the entire menu.
Have to say the tacos are amazing here, and their take on the crunchwrap. Awesome hidden spot.
What a great find! I’m always on the lookout for great local spots and this was definitely not a disappointment. It’s tucked away in a shopping center near Haywood mall and I’ve never seen it before today. The inside is small but has a homey atmosphere. The young lady at the front was very friendly and helpful when looking over the menu!I came in on Taco Tuesdays and tried four of their 6 (I think) options:Carne AsadaChickenAl PastorBirriaThese are traditional street style tacos so you get a corn tortilla, meat, cilantro, and onions (my style!)They also had a salsa bar (forgot to take a pic) with mild, hot, and salsa verde along with limes, jalapeños, and more cilantro and onions if you wish.I liked the mild salsa best but had to throw in a little hot to hear it up! I love a good spicy salsa, but this seems more like a hot sauce than salsa to me. Salsa verde had good flavor too.Carne Asada was ok. I’ll have to say I love a good carne asada but the beef was dry and a bit fatty for me.Chicken was great! Good flavor and very juicy.Al Pastor and Birria were by far my favorite. Tons of flavor and very juicy! You’ll need plenty of napkins!I would love to see two shells instead of one because they fell apart very easily. All in all, I would definitely go back and I look forward to trying more of their menu items!
Amazing food and the staff were incredibly friendly. We love eating here and have had great food every time we have come!
Since discovering this place last summer, it has become my go-to spot. Coming from California, I can vouch for its authenticity in Mexican cuisine. The consistency, from food to service, is remarkable. I've sampled almost every category on their menu, and for first-timers, the Birria tacos are a standout – the meat is tender and juicy. Beyond tacos, they showcase the versatility of Birria meat in loaded fries, empanadas, Birria pho soup, and more. The family-run dynamic, with cousins and kids pitching in, adds a charming touch. Being a small local business is a definite plus. Always a supporter of small, family-owned establishments, as they offer the best kind of experience.Vegetarian options: I eat meat but if you’re vegetarian. I would highly recommend the potato tacos it just seasoned potato in a hard shell crispy taco topped with Mexican cream, lettuce, avocado sauce, and cotija cheese.
