Chez Valentin - Carnac

Small restaurant with friendly staff and a little more variety than we had seen in other restaurants with similar pricing. The turban of sole and fish and chips were both very good. Plat and dessert for just under €20 each.

We arrived here as a family of 4 and were given a warm welcome. Speaking little French the owner made a great effort to make us feel welcome. The duck leg ordered was so soft it would rival some I've had in some very highly rated restaurants on TripAdvisor. Highly recommend!

We are two dinners here as we liked it so much. Charming little place in a perfect location, delicious aperitifs and excellent and well-priced wine. Rabbit terrine was especially good, and they did a nice seafood fricassee. Also they put together a vegetarian option (still pretty rare in France). Great service from a friendly waiter too.

Looking for a change from a creperie- we were surprised to find this small restaurant just by the church. Interesting, well cooked food and good service. Two courses each from the 'menu' (all very good, although you do not expect huge quantities) plus a bottle of cider and a coffee for 40 Euros. Would come back if we visit Carnac again.

Paid 13.90 for cheese on toast with salad as this was the only vegetarian option. they had no flexibility gave me no other option for food on the set menu very disappointing
