Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I visited because we received a gift card. The decorations and furnishings were elegant and clean. I was surprised at how expensive everything on the menu was, but hoped for an excellent dining experience. As we talked before dinner I became aware at how noisy the place was. My salad arrived but was clearly not fresh (brown and rotted edges). It was removed from my check without issue. The recommended wine on the menu was not at all suitable for the prime rib. The onion soup was reasonably good and the prime rib was acceptable, but somewhat undercooked for medium. I was offered another gift card after a short discussion at the entry desk, but I declined since I plan not to return. There are many fine dining restaurants in the area and I plan to return to them, not Kincaid 's.
Our server, Laura, was excellent. She was the high point. My perfect Manhattan, up with a twist came with a cherry, no twist. The Maytag salad was very good. The Rib-eye came rare, not medium-rare, and full of connective tissue. The asparagus was yellow and not flavorful. The oysters Rockefeller were fine, as was the onion soup. On the whole, no better than a 3 on a 1-5 scale. You may share this with management.
