After reading positive reviews of this cafe, we decided to bring an elderly friend for lunch. Driving through the beautiful Welsh countryside, we arrived at 12:45. We noticed a sign outside indicating the soup of the day and its price, which seemed promising. However, when we entered the cafe, we were asked if we had made a reservation. We had not, and were informed that they could only offer us dessert and a drink. Despite there being plenty of tables inside and outside, we were told there were no seats available indoors. We settled for a scone for lunch outside, noting that the cafe was empty when we left an hour later. The scone was enjoyable, but not filling enough for a lunch meal. Additionally, the outdoor restroom, Ty Bach, was concerning with an exposed electric socket and a warning sign about hot water. We left feeling extremely disappointed after driving a long distance to dine with our friend. The website had advertised a full menu and open hours, but we were not able to access the soup of the day as indicated on the door. It appears that booking in advance is required, and the toilet facilities are potentially dangerous. Proceed with caution if planning to visit.

Happy got this wonderful place recommend by a friend, nicest afternoon tea ever. Cakes and sandwiches were fabulous and plenty of tea to wash it all down. Loved crockery, would 100% recommend.

We visited for afternoon tea. One of the cream teas was gluten free. We could not believe how many sandwiches, savouries and cakes arrived per person. There was also limited beverages. The quality was superb. The service was spot on. We were even allowed to take our dog with us. TOP MARKS THANK YOU.

Despite the attractive atmosphere and nicely presented food, our experience was not positive. My friend was disappointed with the meal and I was embarrassed to have recommended this restaurant. It would have been better if they had offered another roll or a piece of bread and butter to address the issue. However, we were unable to leave a negative review on their Facebook page as a message would continuously pop up saying "We're having trouble completing your request. Please try again." This may explain why all their reviews are positive, as negative feedback seems to be blocked.

Visited here as a group of friends including (2 young children) for Afternoon Tea. Beautiful place The best cakes and such a great variety of sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Couldn't finish it plentyful! Staff were friendly, accommodating and bubbly. Highly recommend and will be back very soon. Diolch
