Tank Fish and Chippery - Carlton

Tank n chippery was a disappointing experience. Despite ordering from a menu meant for children, we had to pay extra for chips and salad. The food did not taste good and was overpriced. This was a rare occasion where I felt the need to write a review, as the quality was so poor.

We sampled both the traditional fried fish and chips and the healthier grilled version at this restaurant. Both dishes were so tasty that we had a hard time choosing between them. However, we all agreed that the fish was exceptionally fresh. If you ever find yourself in the area, be sure to give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

The gluten free (gf) grilled blue grenadier fish, fresh cut salat on brown rice was excellent! added a few slices of grilled haloumi cheese only for an additional kick. the rest of the family had broken flake and chips and they drove the taste. the best they had in a pretty old place. recommend the apple cider.

Went to Tank at 'Little Italy ' and love the reasonable priced fresh fish and seafood you can get here! Fish from around AUD10 and calamari at AUD2.50 each. Scallops and prawns are also available. I love the smell from the kitchen oozing out to the...dining area as we await our soon to be freshly cooked meals. Yummy!!!
