Great place to go for lunch and work. Reasonable prices and good food. Just tried their dinner service tonight and my filet was cooked perfectly, veggies were tender and all of it was seasoned well. Highly recommend.

A recent remote control airplane mishap inspired this visit to The Landings. ? Located at the McClellan Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, it provides a nice selection of indoor/outdoor dining with a pretty decent sight line of the planes taking off and landing. Although the primary draw for our Review Team was the atmosphere, we had to admit that the food served was also good. @carlsbadlandings will be directly in front of you as you come through the main airport entrance, but be sure to park to the left of the restaurant. There is plenty of free parking on that side that will help you avoid a parking ticket or the towing of your vehicle. It is not uncommon for outdoor live entertainment to be offered on weekend evenings, so be sure to check on that in advance. And that?s?Henry?s Take. @henrystake

I've lived in the La Costa area for 15 years and have frequented this restaurant during that time. The food is great they have a nice patio, a nice dance floor and live music on the weekends. We walked in tonight hoping to hear the rock band and have a nice dinner and drinks. We were told at the hostess stand that it's now $30 per person on Fridays and Saturday nights. Seriously?? Does this money go to the band?? Otherwise, shame on you! There are plenty of other places in Carlsbad where you can go and hear live music enjoy a nice dinner and drinks without having to pay an outrageous cover charge! $10 would have been more reasonable. I won't be returning here unless this policy changes
