Carlsbad Chocolate

I don't like to give the local business bad reviews, but that wasn't a good experience. first the two young girls who worked the counter were great. very friendly and helpful. I have the rocky road bar and a chocolate turtle. whatever in the middle of the rocky street was terrible. it seemed stale and not good taste. the chocolate turtle tasted literally like karton. my wife said her dark chocolate toffee also tasted stale. I don't mind spending a little more money on good chocolate, but that wasn't good.

The valentine sweetness selection is amazing! comes in cute boxes, and cute cards / accessories available. in any case recommend!

Everything about this place is amazing! The music, the chocolate, the atmosphere and the customer service! Everyone was super helpful and welcoming! I had the S’more and Dipped Almond Cluster! The best! Definitely coming back!

Visiting from out of town, we decided to stop by to see what they had after we ate dinner. Bought two different chocolates. Got back to the hotel and tried the toffee pretzel. It was absolutely stale and I had to throw it away. Business needs to check quality and freshness of ingredients. Waste of my money.

Got here and the line was already forming out the door...little did I know that was because the girl opening was late. She then looked annoyed as she opened the doors and we started walking in. Horrible customer service...followed by even worse chocolate. 1 star because 0 isn't allowed.So I decided to do a little edit on my review since I can not respond to the owner's comment below.There was only one employee at this store when I was there. She didn't open the doors until after 12 when you are supposed to be open. She didn't look frazzled to me at all except for the fact that she was clearly running late and didn't even turn the lights on before letting us in your store. Although I understand why you are trying to do damage control on your business I was actually there and you were not. I am sorry your reply doesn't change my mind.
