I've been visiting Carloforte and this amazing island for the last 3 years and I've been eating in many of its restaurants (almost all of them! I'll be honest with you, if your focus are luxury service, silver plates and elaborated minimalist dishes you should look for another solution... if instead are genuine local food and people, authentic smiles and chats, well there's no better place to go. Meet Paolo and his family, you'll take back home a memory of an extraordinary culinary experience (forget the menu btw he's gonna tell you whatever fresh there s in the kitchen! as well as a real taste of Carloforte.

Above the roofs of the city .....genius terrace with a view over Carloforte. Familiar and very friendly service with Brazilian influences. Food simple, fresh, delicious. Pasta is a must here! Antipasti vary from day to day...by the way, you won 't find a menu! : It makes sense to reserve, if you want special fish, then pre order! And finally, of course, a Mirto, cheers!!

Family-run restaurant in the historic center of Carloforte. It's not your typical tourist restaurant on the waterfront and that's why we liked it! The menu is fixed based on tuna. We start with a variety of truly delicious appetizers. Followed by the first course and finally the dessert. The owner is a very welcoming and sociable person. If you are looking for authentic things I highly recommend this place. Ah, don't forget the splendid panoramic view you can enjoy from the restaurant terrace
