Best Chinese takeaway in carlisle area. I’ve tried others during the lock down only to throw it in the bin. The joyful house is the only Chinese takeaway for me.

This used to be our local Chinese takeaway. I only ever got one thing from the menu: curried vegetables and fried rice. I never wanted to have anything else. It's *always* busy surely the sign of a good outlet!

Last night ordered and eat came in a good time and was nice and hot. the chili shredded bark was delicious and my daughter had one early roll I expected it a little early roll, but it was huge! so I have half lol very delicious! it can kind of be mistaken! will definitely order again.

Beautiful chinese, host is beautiful and his little boy gave a lollipop of our daughter who was a nice little touch! definitely recommend eating is beautiful!
