The Jam Pantry - Carindale

I can't believe they charge an extra $2 for toast?! Other than that, it's a nice place, but be aware of the weird extra charges for things that are usually free. For example, toasted banana bread, which typically comes toasted in most cafes, costs an extra $2 here. Strange, but overall a nice place.

These pancakes taste like Christmas. Every bite of them is not heavy AT ALL but impossibly light.<br/ Gingerbread y tastes fill your mouth and somehow you picture green trees and red berries. (Maybe its the colours in the plate. Maybe it's the association of Christmas with holly and mistletoe, even to people who were born and bred and breath the tropics like me. <br/ <br/ The plums are impossibly good. Why are they so good? What is in these plums?<br/ <br/ Nothing is overly sweet, and that shouldn't be possible with the plums and dried cherries. Oh man, the dried cherries taste like mulled wine and happiness and genius.<br/ <br/ CHOCOLATE AVOCADO MOUSSE. OH man. This is the best thing for a nutty chocolate lover. That texture.<br/ <br/ Still, nothing is over sweet. This needs some sort of medal!<br/ <br/ The chef is a genius, I thought...and 15 minutes later, I still think that.<br/ <br/ How is it possible for one singular dish to be the best thing I have ever tasted?<br/ <br/ This is amazing. I am blessed. Oh yes. I never ever want to leave this moment. I think I'm in love with pancakes.<br/ <br/ I'm not even that crazy ABOUT pancakes. These are just so...genius.<br/ Everyone here is genius. This whole experience is genius.<br/ <br/ I'm a big believer in praising something when you're the most grateful. In this case, it's after I ate these pancakes because I was NOT intending to stop during it.<br/ I tried. I tried a few times, but I couldn't. It would have ruined the experience .

Breakfast of Nims eggs was awesome, full of interesting flavours, banana chutney pesto, but hey it works!!!!

Great place for coffee and brunch classics. Nothing groundbreaking, but overall a satisfying experience. I’ll be back for sure.

Everything you visit something a little different. Staff are friendly. Service typically swift. Gorgeous breakfasts<br/ <br/ Our recent visit needed some adjustment for dietary needs and this was a breeze.<br/ <br/ I slightly resent that I can no longer walk to Comfort at my table, but it is perhaps time to move on!
