Thai Dee - Carindale

Went here for a sit down meal for a change after not eating out in a long time, food was very delicious but the atmosphere let our experience down . We have eaten here before many years ago pre the big C) The restaurant door was left open for the convenience of the many people collecting take away Delivery drivers turning up so was very very cold inside, some of the drivers sat on a chair near the counter waiting and listening to their phones very loudly another one kept picking at his nose as he was opposite me I had to do my best to not see him.. They had air con but it wasn't switched on, even though there were other diners here when we arrived, after shutting the door myself and even moving tables we could not escape the wind funneling in through the door which kept blowing open I had a puffer vest on too. After a very hastily eaten meal we got takeaway containers and today when ready to eat some leftovers discovered that the containers we were given are not microwave safe. So everyone who gets deliveries and take away will have to change containers before re heating.

I know this place has good reviews and i live 5 minutes from this place so i gave it a try i must of been unlucky as my satay chicken stir fry was very poor the taste was nice but as i plated it up at home the bottom of the container was just water i thought it might of been some form of broth but it just seemed like they hadnt drained the vegetables or something it was terrible i will not try this place again.

I've ordered delivery now approx 6 or 7 times with Thai Dee. Super happy every time with the quality, cost and efficiency. I have to admit I have never been to the restaurant itself. I think I'm going to have to give it a go soon though since I love their take away so much.

I had been to Thai dee but not since the new owners took over some 4+ years ago. Also I moved from the local area We had a wonderful meal, the flavours were really something else! compared to many other Thai resturants. It will be our new go too spot for Thai. A bit more of a drive now but worth it. I had Penang Chicken a great dish. Thankyou Thai Dee

We ordered a few times and haven#t been disappointed so far. We ordered take away, but you can dine in too. Quick and friendly service.
