Mons Ban Sabai - Carindale

My friends and I had a great time at Mons Sabai Thai for our first get-together since restaurants reopened. The service was fantastic. We started with curry puffs and duck spring rolls, both good but the curry puffs were the standout. Our main dishes were the red emperor yellow curry (special) and chicken stir fry, both delicious. The coconut rice complemented the dishes perfectly. The waitress recommended the fish curry, which we loved. The service was attentive but not rushed, and we didn't feel pressured to leave even though we were the last guests. Mons Sabai Thai has consistently excellent food and service, and we will definitely be returning.

Had a great meal here. The spring rolls and roti were super fresh. Massaman curry had lovely flavour and the beef cheeks in it were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back.

The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely with slightly dim lighting and nice decor featuring various green plants. The service was also quite efficient. We ordered Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Red Chicken Curry, and Cashew Nut Chicken. All of the dishes were delicious with perfectly balanced spices that gave a nice kick without being overwhelming. However, the portion sizes were relatively small. Overall, it's a good spot for a date night or a night out with friends, especially if you live nearby.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. I only wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger for the price. The beef curry was especially amazing, with tender beef that melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this establishment, just be sure to book a table in advance to avoid long wait times during peak hours.

Staff were very friendly, the girl who served us in particular was very smiley. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, a casual yet still classy dining experience. This place seems like a good option for catch ups with friends or family or a lowkey date. The food took a while to come out, however overall was good! I had the Veggie Pad Thai, which I cannot fault. A little bit more on the pricey side when it comes to Thai food in Brisbane but I would still recommend it.
