The good: the service, while far from outstanding, was not bad. The waiter—when we were able to get her attention— was friendly and helpful. The bad: the food. We asked for asado and molleja. The asado was the toughest piece of meat I ate in...my entire life. I am sure that that piece of meat can be safely used in bulletproof vest. The molleja was overdone and tasteless. The chorizo and morcilla must have been remainders from the last week. The bad Part II: The wine. We asked for three different bottles that were not available. Finally the waiter brought a Malbec that was too warm and with a bitter taste. The bad Part III: Worst dessert that we ate in our lives. The bad Part IV: the feeling of being cheated by the comments of previous reviewers. They (or us) had obviously eaten in different restaurants.

Los Troncos is a real find. The waiters have been there for eons and are truly professional in every sense of the word. The menu is varied though their specialty are the meat dishes. Everything is cooked to perfection and to your wishes. The wine...list is impressive. The ambience is very warm and inviting and the dining area decorated with taste and care. CASH only. I recommend VERY highly and would return without a second thought.

Food took an hour to come, steak was over cooked, portions were too big, service was only acceptable, price was cheap reflected in the food. He place was packed by 8:45pm, we arrived earlier so managed to get a table straight away without queuing....Seems to be big with the locals, however we left disappointed.
