Saffron - Cardiff

This restaurant epitomizes the classic "greasy spoon" diner but with a cleaner, less greasy twist. The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional dishes and more. We customized our breakfast by adding cheese on toast with extra sausage, bacon, egg, and hash brown, straying from the set menus. Despite our demanding order, the food arrived quickly and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and well-informed. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Cardiff. I highly recommend this place for a delicious, no-fuss brunch experience!

This café is a great spot for all-day breakfast paninis and more. It's conveniently located near Ninian Park and the Principality Stadium, offering good value for your money.

I visited Canton this morning and decided to have lunch here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We ordered two omelettes, one with cheese and one Turkish, and I opted for the chicken salad. I am always hesitant when ordering salads in cafes, as they often come with just iceberg lettuce and some meat on top. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully presented salad with perfectly cooked chicken and mozzarella. The omelettes, served with chips and salad, were also delicious. The Turkish omelette was especially flavorful. I will definitely be returning when I visit Cardiff again.

Used to be the best cafe around but since new owners have taken over its very poor small portions at big prices wont be coming here again sorry

Nice enough breakfast but not sure why there were olives and peppers on the plate, as well as a stack of fried onions! Don't think that's been well thought out! Definitely need to get rid of those as not necessary! Rest of it was very nice and staff were very friendly and polite!
