Chutney Roti - Cardiff

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a delicious, traditional meal served by friendly and attentive staff. The bhuna dish was particularly impressive, with generous portions of meat and a spicy, flavorful taste. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I have never been disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The service was a bit questionable today, but overall it was good. We were only provided with spoons instead of knives and forks for our appetizer, and we didn't receive warm towels at the end of the meal like other tables did. These were the only two issues with the service today, but they are usually on point.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, but every time I've been, the food has been exceptional. While many restaurants can have variations in service and food quality, Chutney Roti consistently delivers top-notch service and high-quality food. The ingredients used are fresh and beautiful, which really shines through in the cooking and marination. The naan breads are perfectly made and don't have that raw dough taste that you find in most restaurants - they are just right! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant - the prices are fair for the quality of food you receive. The food was nice, but didn't have the wow factor. We were there for a family birthday party. It was a Saturday and just after 10:00. We were the last remaining customers. Two female employees shine in our direction. The lighting was further dimmed and the air cone turned off. They wanted us to go. (They close at 10:30). When we left, they followed us to the door, closed them behind us and turned the open sign to close! We wouldn't go again. You need further training for customer service!

Wanted to try somewhere different, 8 of us went. A small curry house with approx. 30 places. Food was good, very well presented. Service was adequate, could have been friendlier. Not a lot of atmosphere but over all an enjoyable meal.
