Restaurante Alhinho - Carcavelos

Boa comida. Preços em conta. Espaço pequeno mas luminoso e agradável. Atendimento podia ser mais simpático

I visited the restaurant with my Portuguese wife and her mother. We live nearby In Carcavelos. The food was good for an inexpensive Portuguese restaurant as was the service. However the problem arose with the bill. The “couvert” covering bread, olives etc came to €13. We had olives, bread, butter and 6 pasteis de bacalhao. From the menu this does not add up to €13. We challenged this but told it covered bread olives etc. These must be the most expensive bread and olives in the Lisbon area! Overcharging I never accept and will not be back. There are plenty of superior restaurants in the area.

This is a typical Portuguese restaurant with very good food to good prices. Fish excellent and so has the meat been can only recommend.

This is a nice neighbourhood restaurant consistent, good, home style food. Good prices and good service.

Alhinho is a place to have decent home-made food at very reasonable prices. A good spot for a weekend lunch.
