Bidrage med feedbackI was there couple summers ago, with an Italian family for a big birthday luncheon. I went straight from the Milan airport. Even in the haze of the jet lag, I could savor the great taste of each dish served, every single one was impressive. The owners raise their own animals and grow vegetables. The cheese they make, I wish I could get back at home. Dining rooms were homey, the whole outdoor space and landscape provided for a beautiful relaxing afternoon. Owner couples are wonderful people, serious about their food and very friendly. I didn't get a chance to stay over night but know will go back there, with my husband and son!
We ha da fixed lunch menu with six courses, wine and water for 30€ p.P. and were very pleased with the food!
We stayed two nights at Agriturismo Cascina Ombria and decided to eat our breakfasts and dinners there. Alberto served us magnificent meals, made with milk, eggs, cheese and meat and more, right from the farm. Not only was the food excellent and beautifully presented, but Alberto and Chiara were such wonderful hosts. They speak some English and one of us spoke some Italian, so we had some great conversation, including some helpful tips for exploring the area. The place is rustic and beautiful...just exactly what we were looking for to end a wonderful trip to Italy. Thank you, Alberto Chiara!
We are obliged to say a big thank you to Chiara and Alberto for their kindness and for making our visit to their countryside restaurant a memorable one. A perfect local menu served in a beautifully decorated old farmhouse on a bright autumn Sunday. Special mention to the quadrotti , a kind of ravioli stuffed with cheese and pears! Another special mention to the different varieties of their home made goat cheese. Price in line with expectations, good quality wines. There is plenty of space outside for children to play. Maybe a little difficult to reach in case of snowfalls.
Nice, delicious staff and very kind. I have turned many of their farm, but this is already among my favorites. the menu consists of a rich appetizer of meat and cheese, in particular goats, produced in the same company. two first, a second and a further cheese goto. It's really good. it was possible to distinguish individual ingredients in each dish. finally dessert, maybe what I liked less but for my personal goto. All abundant. the staff is very kind, present and attentive but discreet. the place is kept very well despite it keeps a very rustic look. We have to see the goats. children can have a lot of fun both because animals can be observed closely both for trips and for the green available (for children's menus I recommend to ask directly at the time of booking. ) the beautiful interiors, all restored with exposed stone and made very well. I mean, I can't find anything I didn't like. only attention: check the road well before leaving because the navigator could make you take a dirt road. for those coming from the a4, better ocita dalmine. it stretches a little but overflows. tables for spacers and baths always clean we will be as soon as possible! Good!
