Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this restaurant was excellent, with a variety of bold flavors that left me wanting more with each bite. I tried the beef with rice and was impressed. The service was good overall, although there were slightly long waits at times to place our order or pay the bill. The restaurant is situated in a somewhat questionable area and parking can be difficult to find. The interior is decorated with a Thai theme, making it a great option for a business lunch or a casual meal with friends. However, the restaurant does not have a kids play area and is not wheelchair accessible.
I can't believe I've lived in Cape Town for so long and never tried Taste of Thailand. The food is amazing, with delicious flavors, large portions, and reasonable prices. Nicholas provided us with excellent service - he was professional, efficient, and friendly. It was nice to see the restaurant busy on a Friday night, yet we still got our food promptly. We will definitely be returning!
The meal was amazing! The Raw Prawns in Goong Chea Nam Pla sauce were incredibly delicious, and the kingclip was fresh and scrumptious. The chicken dish and angry duck were also very good. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
Taste of Thailand never disappoints. This was my second visit and the food was as good as the first visit. The different flavours of the many dishes was a gastronomic adventure. The curries are a must if you love spicy food, otherwise stick to the stir fries. The coconut soup, the dim sum were all also divine. Order a few main dishes to share with rice for the table, then prepare yourself for a taste explosion!
The flavor of the sweet and sour chicken didn’t disappoint. The sauce is a rich plum save. The egg fried rice was not spared. We had more than enough. The spring rolls were light and flaky and stuffed with vegetables and meat.
