Sotano - Cape Town Central

Go in the late afternoon/early evening for a really chilled place that serves good food, their tapas menu is the best with a great selection of weinbier to not mention their selection of gins.

The food is a little salty for my liking. The pricing is definitely on the more expensive side of the spectrum. The friendly staff redeemed the restaurant and bumped it up to a 4 star.

Popped in for a snack and a glass of wine after the work day. It was quite vibey despite it being a Wednesday evening. Food was great albeit a bit overpriced. No doubt , will re-visit when we’re back in Cape Town.

Always a nice experience, good service and quick delivery. The view is great, and so is the food. Would appreciate some light music outside, but no complaints

At Sotano we found that the tables for 2 were a bit small for a place that serves tapas so the table was quite full by the time all the food we ordered arrived. We really enjoyed the live music though and the staff were very attentive and friendly which was the perfect touch to my birthday dinner I really loved the marinated raw tuna belly and can't wait to try it again but hopefully with a bit less lemon juice.
