Ebbitt Room - CAPE MAY

Excellent meal with excellent service. We ate in the garden and it was quite charming much quieter and more intimate than the side by side tables in the dining room.

Waited 45 minutes for a reservation I made 1 month ago. After multiple inquiries, we were finally brought back only to see multiple tables empty. Not the service and attention I would expect from this type of establishment.

Our experience was different than what we have come to expect at The Ebbitt Room. We requested our table be moved from the outdoor patio to inside/porch. This was due to the mosquitos. We were offered bug spray instead. The oyster wine combo for $30 was a complete disappointment. The wine was supposed to be 1/2 glass and it looked like 1/4. The fish my wife ordered was dry. The garden salad was refreshing but for $15 I would have appreciated a bigger portion. The chicken was very good. The peaches on top were the highlight of my meal. The service was fine. The waitress was very nice but we are accustomed to exceptional service. Honestly, this was our first negative experience in 4 visits to The Ebbit Room. We recommend sitting inside or at the bar.

This restaurant was amazing. The server was able to guide us through the menu, the food was delicious and drinks were amazing
