Rumrunners - Cape Coral

Have been here several times; wait staff always very nice and competent. Hostess stand however, always seems to have 2 – 3 young ladies who are too busy talking among themselves to notice that they have people standing in line awaiting their attention! That has been consistent across past 4-5 visits. Servers are very nice and attentive enough. The view was a nice water view and that is why we went so we were not too disappointed. I just wish they would greet you or acknowledge you in some way, when you first come in. I had to finally ask if we could get a table, to which they said, “Oh, yeah sure!” …Duh…

The first time at Rumrunners. Our waiter Matthew was excellent. When he asked for some appetizers, he gave us his favorites and it was fantastic. Had her Petite Filet and 12Oz NY Strip. On the deck the sunset sat great together with the drinks and the food.

I couldn't find a menu with the specified prices. not on the website) There are also no beef prices on the menu, ie pork chop with 25 mice to 35 mice for beef. Also then you need to ask the server) anyway prices, although a bit high, they are reasonable about the views. It's an upscale food. An observation. They are not very disabled accessible. 2 places, 1 at each end of the parking lot. Plus a long way to go... More wise 3-4 steps to the restaurant. The food. Seafood Pot Pie. I've never heard of a seafood pot. $18 bucks. Fresh shrimps, scallops, crabs, peas, carrots and potatoes. In a small plate. With puff pastries upstairs. No need to add salt or pepper. It was full of seafood. It filled my stomach. I really enjoyed this court. No dog bag. No place to dessert. Server ,Jessica excellent. All staff wonderful. Try a place.

The dishes and drinks are TOP quality. The atmosphere is great. The service is fast and friendly. Appropriate price for quality. This is the kind of place everyone is LOOKING FOR!

We ate here about half a dozen times and we find the food here to be solid and consistent. I recommend asking for fish and seafood specialties. I wasn't disappointed. They seem to have fresh seafood, and it has always been well prepared with something fine. Great place to eat on the water and have a pleasant meal! Nice to recommend this restaurant for your consideration.
