Lakeside Golf Club - Canyon Lake

Worst course we have ever played at. Do yourself a favor and just skip golfing if this is the only course you can get a tee time with. There is a reason they have open tee times. Definitely not worth $45. This is a $10 course max. 6/23/2023

Overall not bad for the price, but go into it knowing that the new owner is working to improve a course that is in complete disrepair. I think it has a ton of potential if they get it all going over the next couple of years. (Greens, bunkers, mowing, etc. I played with a local which made it more fun and overall a good day.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time and money out here. Place needs to be bulldozed…Paid the same price as I would have to play Landa Park….which is absolutely ridiculous! It was so bad we decided to call it quits after 8 holes and they wouldn’t give us a 9 hole refund. No grass in the fairway and damaged clubs from all the rocks under what grass you could find. Greens were so bad they were automatic 2 putt if you hit them. Holes haven’t been moved in so long dirt/debris has filled up the cups and 1/2 the flags were damn near leaning sideways. If I could leave 0 stars I could. Save your reputation…shut the place down and rework it.

This was the worst course I have been to! The greens are so sad. Do not waste your money! I know it has not rained in a while but this was just sad. Sand traps had grass all in them. Greens had all types of weeds on them. Good luck making a putt. Golf carts sucked with two people riding in them. Do not expect anything great from this course. One hole had a sign as a flag marker. I should have read the reviews before booking this place.Fully recommend Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs as we went that afternoon and the following day it was great 100% better!

Four of us played 7/18/2023. This was easily the worst condition of a golf course that any of us have seen. Not a professional environment either. There were no bottles of water at the pro shop but there was cold water a few spots on the course.If you have a choice drive how ever far you need to for a different course.
