First of all, maybe some people won 't be able to fully understand our review. If my expectations hadn 't been so high given the ambiance and presentation of the restaurant, we might have been a little less critical in the end. We decided on the recommendation for the tasting menu with 9 courses. 1. Unfortunately the portion sizes were way too big for so many courses. 2-4 courses came at once. Most of them are simply too big, so that in the end you could hardly get anything down. Already after the first two courses I told the waiter that I hoped there would not be more courses that were so big, otherwise I would burst. Admittedly, this can be complaining on a high level. 2. In addition, the courts then came like a shot. I 've tried to delay everything a bit, but everything seemed to have been planned very well and without consideration for the guest, which we found very disturbing and also uncomfortable for the evening. 3. then several of the dishes were very tasty, but much too salty, so that I could hardly take another bite. And personally, I 'm actually one of those people who add more salt and don 't skimp on the salt at home either. And although I could understand it with the tuna tartare with soy sauce, the following two dishes ended up being just way too salty. 4. When I then tried to express my criticism in a nice way, the waiters apparently did not like it, so that our wine was not refilled afterwards (this was a matter of course before) and we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our bill to be paid (this even more forced), although there wasn 't much going on and before we felt like we were served the whole menu without any breaks. 5. Since I didn 't like the dessert, I asked if I could exchange it for another. After the waiter asked, that didn 't seem to be a problem. In the end both of us got the dessert I changed. When I asked, the waiter said that you could only do this for a table. Apart from the fact that I don 't believe that, since you could have ordered other things and not both had to choose the tasting menu . We were not informed of this beforehand and the guest was not addressed here either. The dessert was very tasty at the end and my companion was not unhappy with the choice, but the opening of the restaurant suggests something else. In summary, a 3 star rating may not be entirely fair as there are far worse restaurants on the island. But in the end, what the restaurant embodies matters too and unfortunately we felt more like appearances than real. Overall, we found this very annoying, so we probably wouldn 't come a second time. However, we don 't doubt that the restaurant doesn 't have potential to be very good!
I ate here in Oct 2022 and the food was delicious, the slow cooked lamb they had at the time was to die for. I came back in the hope they still had the lamb on the menu (I’ve been thinking about it for 8 months, it was that good! but they sadly didn’t. I ordered the beef, hoping it would come close to the lamb and as another reviewer wrote, it’s the possibly the worst beef dish I’ve ever had. It was tiny, not large enough to share as the menu states, it was dry and a poor cut, it was also the most expensive dish on the menu. Even the roast potatoes it came with were dry and crumbly. It was not worth the price at all. I had the aubergine as well and it was a bit hard, undercooked, and didn’t have much flavour. I’m gluten free so they served me GF bread but I had to ask for some oil or butter or something to have with it, I saw everyone else get a nice oil and salt dish, I got some oil served from the bottle at the table. The cheesecake dessert was ok, the best dish of the night. it wasn’t too sweet which I like. I asked for mint tea and they first brought me normal tea so I had to send it back for peppermint. As for atmosphere, I was sitting between two different kinds of music so it was a bit chaotic sounding. Extremely disappointed by the whole experience. They must have had a new chef or something as the food wasn’t up to standard. Service was ok, cute waiter, the extra star is for him. Review for Koreans The hotel where I met the most Koreans while traveling in Mallorca!! Hotel An Tapas Bar is the best The fried calamari was the best I had in Spain. The batter was so delicious that it tasted like Korean-style chicken!! I ordered chocolate as a snack for drinking in the evening, and it was the best Please eat something sweet dessert chocolate..
