The Cherry Tree - Canterbury

We had several drinks here and it's quite small. the music was loud and they had a good choice of beer!

My daughter and I went to this public house for lunch.The social distancing was very good and the sanitising was excellent,everything was wiped down.We ordered 2 meals,I scampi and chips,1 all day breakfast.The food was bought to the table and it was amazing.Hot and very...tasty.Would recommend to anyone to eat there.

Lovely staff, tasty food, jukebox, outside seating affordable drinks and fun gigs! what more do you need in a pub?

We go in every time we visit and used to look forward to it: on this occasion we seem to have hit the time when all the 'effers and blinders ' were out. Couple this with the exceptionally loud music and it made for a most...uncomfortable experience. A chap called Terry was dragging this place up by its bootstraps, the food was good and there was a casual, welcoming atmosphere about the place; this time there was no food (a good reason for that) but it seems that everyone was concentrating on drinking (and swearing) instead. This place gave the impression that it was no longer the happy, relaxed place it used to be that used to welcome all types of guest and now just seems to welcome one, particular kind of customer. A blessed relief on the ears when we left.

Nice to be able to sit outside on solid benches! Staff even get the door for you when your hands are full of drinks.. they sell a drink named the Pig F........ (fill in the blank) no one actually gets told what is in...it.. nice place..
