Ossie's Fish Chips - Canterbury

This restaurant has always been one of our favorites. They have great fish and chips and are conveniently located near the sea front. I deducted a star because on my last visit, I was unable to pay with my card and was forced to pay in cash. I only had Apple Pay and was told to pay with a bank transfer instead. So be aware that they may only accept cards or cash.

Delicious fish and chips, reasonably priced in a busy and cosy fish bar. There was a choice for haddock, cod and plaice; I tried cod and was not disappointed. 30 minute walk along the coast from Whistable main beach.

This restaurant is always bustling, so make sure to arrive early. The food is delicious with generous portions, especially the light and fluffy chips (though there may be too many). The OAP meal is still substantial and reasonably priced. The staff is very efficient. Be prepared to pay with cash or make a bank transfer.

Ordered Cod but given something alternative without notification

I haven't had a meal this good in a while. The customer service was excellent.
