Promessas Aromáticas Lda - Caniço

We visit this restaurant every time we are in Madeira. It is in a shopping centre so no views, but good to combine with a shopping trip. The menu is interested and varied and has a good dish of the day (enjoyed by many...locals). We like the pasta (they can offer gluten free pasta). The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the food is great and the price good.

Very very tasty pizza, delicious looking menu. Just such a shame that it’s hidden away in a dark featureless shopping centre. Will return though

It's on the first floor of a shopping centre ! Lovely food, we had cannoloni and tropical salad it was lovely. Friendly staff and quick service, lacked a bit of atmosphere but it was an early evening visit and shopping centres lack atmosphere, in my...opinion.

My girlfriend and I found this place in a shopping mall nearby our hotel. We didn't want to walk too far but we're sceptical about the quality of a mall eatery. A quick check of the reviews on Tripadvisor made it sound promising. We weren't...disappointed. My gf had the vegetarian mediteranean salad option which she found extremely good. It is hard to find veg options in Madeira that exceed a simple bowl of lettuce with some chopped tomatoes and raw onions thrown in. This salad was flavoured with a well proportioned and uniquely delicious honey and mustard dressing. I had a soup for starters and the chicken rigatoni. Both were equally as good. The previous reviews were correct. This place is worth it.
