Ty-Coz Cafe - Cancún

They have great baguettes and croissants, served quickly and at a great price. They have been serving Cancun for many years and for sure many more to come.

I've tried the croissants menu from top to toe: all of them tasty, BIG, flavorful and frankly just delicious. French it up and try one of these: the 3 cheese croissants, the Canadian beef croissant, the Vegan one (ok, it's not vegan at all because it's veggies with cheese, but you get the idea).

This became a favorite breakfast stop for us. Popular with the locals, inexpensive and easy. The location just east of the convention center was convenient to the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach hotel. We started several days with their croissants with butter marmalade and sandwiches for our adventuring road trips. It is also near Dreams, Hyatt Regency, Krystal, RIU...

Subway, Tropical Smoothie and Zero 's can not hold a candle to Ty-Coz subs in Mexico. Fresh baguettes served daily for breakfast and lunch/dinner. A must go every year for me while in Cancun as no other subs are prepared so deliciously! My first was a tuna fish with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapenoes and pesto spread, toasted..Amazing! Another was the Italian with lots of cucumbers. I tried to duplicate it at our local WAWA but it did not come close. A favorite for us while in Cancun, began 30 plus years ago which sold baguettes to the locals for a peso. I highly recommend this :

Buen pan baguette, le ponen gran cantidad de lo que pidas yo pedi pastrami y tenia suficiente como para un buien almuerzo. lo recomiendo.
