Da Vinci - Cancún

The staff here was not friendly at all. the waiter seemed irritated when he took our order. we also ran out of the water several times and had to ask for a refill (and were asked a total of 5 times to put it in context.)

4 dinners here. of which all were excellent. the members club main course with risoto and garnel and the gorgonzola suppe to die. all pasta dishes exceptional. wait for the search thanks. ivan!

Nothing special. definitiw expects better for all fuss. under temp steak and rubber scallops.

We ate here twice in our five nights at Omni. The first experience was great. Quick service and the food really blew us away. Only downside was the maître d’ trying to upsell a $2k bottle of wine. I understand the tactic and don’t mind...hearing them out. But he didn’t know when to quit. He kept throwing in more and more promises. We declined. Came back our last night and the service was very slow. 40 minutes and the salads finally came out. Drinks empty and not very attentive service. Other tables clearly were Omni vacation club members. The upsell was going hard at these tables and we were kinda forgotten. Overall I would dine again. But just beware of what your getting in to.

We just celebrated two occasions there this week. One was my husband‘s birthday and one was our anniversary! Emi, the general manager was very knowledgeable in his choices of wine and food. He made excellent suggestions! His decorations for the occasion was absolutely beautiful! He...is truly an asset to the Omni and has a wonderful personality dealing with the customers! Alfredo and Oliver were our waiters on separate nights. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and were outstanding waiters. The dinner and desserts were amazing. I have to thank Jose Chaga Alejandro Garrido for arranging these amazing dinners! I cannot thank them enough for them planning our dinners! The hotel is lucky to have both creative people working for them! I highly recommend everyone goes to this restaurant at least once and they will certainly return!
