Cocono Cancun

Increíble! One of the best places I ever tried in Cancun, great service and the food is at a new level!!

It was tried to taste this restaurant while on the way to get provisions at Costco. What luck! We had a late lunch ~2:30), a turkey cocono) Relleno with a traditional black poblano Yucatan sauce, a tostado appetizer with ants eggs, and several... other excellent dishes. Our waiter and the restaurant manager led us through the interesting menu and helped to select items for one of our party that has several different food allergies. The ambience of the restaurant is very modern and the service excellent. Since we bought over the street after lunch at Costco, we had a validated parking space in the Costco-Lost.

Great new restaurant. It is Mexican (Yucatán) cuisine with an updated, contemporary flair. This is well worth the trip outside the hotel zone. The employees were very helpful in suggesting things to try especially Ricardo. The appetizer with the Mexican caviar was the best...as was the tacos with pork octopus. We shared each plate and found it to be sufficient. A definite for our annual trip to Mexico.

The atmosphere is relaxed and lovely. The fish fishers were delicious and well presented. Friendly service will definitely go back!

If you are brave enough to exit the Hotel Zone you will be rewarded with delicious and unique cuisine for a great price. This restaurant had excellent service and a fun menu. They have a kids area for young children and I recommend the house...lemonade. Visit! You will not be disappointed.
