Chez Victor - Cancale

Seafood platter was so fresh and so good. My friend had the coquille saint Jacques plate and said it was super yummy! Highly recommend this place if you're in Cancale.

This is the spot for seafood. Especially oysters. The oyster beds in the sea are 100 meters away. Everyone was having high seafood orders. We kept it simple. It was great

A close friend told me that Cancale was home to the best oysters anywhere. He 's right and I 'll extend that to all the seafood. We ordered the seafood sampler platter, which is a Cancale standard, with a wide array of shellfish, mostly raw, including oysters, a steamed crab, sea snails, a sea almond or dog cockle (which is not really a cockle). The platters come in sizes we got the smallest one, 57 euros, which was way more than enough for two. My only complaint is the service, which started great but got verrrry slow (and I mean, by French dinner standards) after the place got busy. Dessert (an ok, not great, baba au rhum) took more than 30 minutes to arrive. But I don 't know how common that is and really, it 's ok the seafood was that good.

To Victor This is a good address, there are many choices and we love ourselves. Everything is delicious, fish plancha, camembert molds, small choice at very affordable prices. Don't hesitate to ask Jonathan, this experienced server is no longer pleasant, professional and convenient. Go to Victor's eyes closed

Wow but what a deplorable welcome... After waiting for more than 20 minutes without any consideration of the servers even a clue that we left without consuming anything at the end. But fortunately there is competition everywhere that it is much more welcoming!
